June Dally-Watkins, Australia's first supermodel and deportment icon, dies aged 92 | ABC News

Former model and deportment icon June Dally-Watkins has died in Sydney.

The Tamworth born 92-year-old passed away peacefully in her sleep according to her family.

In 1950 she established the June Dally-Watkins school, which trained young Australian women in deportment and etiquette, later setting up a modelling agency.

June Dally-Watkins is survived by four children, seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
