Flash flooding hits northern NSW and Sydney as state braces for weekend downpour | ABC News

New South Wales has been a state crying out for rain, and today it's been soaked.

Heavy falls have been recorded across huge parts of the NSW coast.

Much of it is welcome, but it's also caused flash flooding in some areas.

Byron Bay was swamped - something many locals say they haven't seen before.
